Health Care Rally Highlights Supreme Court’s Debate
Protestors voice both sides of the issue outside the Old County Courthouse.
“It can’t tell me that I have to go out and buy broccoli. It can’t tell me that I have to go out and buy a Chevy Volt, but it is telling me that I have to go out and buy health insurance,” said opponent Frank Francone.
Francone and others are worried that if the Supreme Court rules in favor of the mandate, that would set a bad precedent for the limit—or lack thereof – of federal government power.
